FAQ
Land clearing questions
What is forestry mulching?
Forestry mulching uses a single machine with a mulching head to cut and grind brush and small trees into mulch where they stand. It clears land in one pass without burn piles or haul-off, and the mulch layer helps control erosion.
Do you remove stumps?
[Confirm: Yes — we can grind or pull stumps as part of clearing / We cut stumps flush; stump grinding available on request.]
Can you clear and grade a lot for a new house?
Yes. We clear brush and trees, remove debris, and do the dirt work and grading for the house pad and driveway, so your builder starts on a ready site.
Do you haul away cut trees and brush?
Yes. Depending on the job we mulch it in place or haul it away with our trucks and roll-off dumpsters — your choice, spelled out in the quote.
When is the best time of year to clear land in East Tennessee?
Late fall through early spring is often easiest: leaves are down, growth is dormant and the ground is visible. We clear year-round, though very wet ground can delay heavy equipment.
